Rubina and Filipe are a Portuguese couple who has been living in Africa for five years now. Filipe proposed to her in the middle of the Namibian desert, but they chose to get married in Portugal, their homeland and where they have the most part of their loved ones. The wedding in Minho was mainly planned on Facetime, but everything turned out perfectly.
It was, really, a celebration of love. The couple’s friends pitched in with a few surprises and the groom gave a speech that touched the hearts of everyone who got to listen to it.
The party lasted long: «We mainly hoped for a day full of joy, good music and love and more than that, that all the guests would have fun and could feel how much their presence meant to us.»
Well, Rubina and Filipe got their wish and we get to take a peek at their beautiful wedding close to Caminha, a city on the northwest corner of Portugal, separated from Spain by only a river with the same name.
