Happy Together videographers followed Jess and James on their quick escape from all the fuss of planning their destination wedding, for a little time just with each other. The result is an absolutely whimsical e-session in Madeira island – let’s hear it from the videographers themselves:
«Jessica and James surrendered completely to the subtropical nature of the Madeira island.
Can you believe that we filmed everything in a couple of hours? We were surprised every time with majestic views, little drops of rain, warm and tender wind, the sun coming magically, and the fog… ohh the fog! Nature’s pure blessing.
As they decided to get married in Madeira, doing an engagement session a few days before the wedding was a perfect chance to get away from all the pre-wedding logistics and have some quality time as a couple. They were literally with their head in the clouds.»
There are a few high spots in Madeira island where you can rise above the clouds and get stunning views. Pico do Areeiro is a peak with 1818 meters of altitude, the third highest peak of the island, and from there you can see Ponta de São Lourenço, Curral das Freiras and even the island of Porto Santo (weather permitting). During the winter, the peak and the surrounding areas may be covered with snow, even though at low Funchal, by the sea, it rarely gets chilly. An island of wonders waiting to host your dream destination wedding.
