You are thinking of a destination wedding, but not sure how it might work, being a Catholic? Rest assure. In Portugal, you will find an array of beautiful churches to choose from for your Catholic destination wedding. With more than 500 years of tradition, we have a rich history and architecture as a Catholic country. You can find a beautiful church in almost every corner, as in Lisbon or Porto, with rich and gilded altars, or be surprised with delicate austerity and with wash walls in small towns in deep Alentejo.
Either way, you will feel deeply blessed on your beautiful ceremony.
Sandra and João got married in Setúbal, about 50km south of Lisbon, just across the river, in a tiny and glorious church: just take a look at all that gilded woodwork, what a beautiful scenario for the ceremony, how magical and powerful…
And let’s talk about sweet Sandra, a bit shy, but totally gorgeous on her sleeved dress with a very unexpected and sexy low back, how perfect was she (and her groom, João, smart and oh so handsome)?
After the ceremony, a quick walk hand in hand for some photos, by the sea, and next, to the party, full steam: this was, for sure, a perfect day, as we can see in their faces and smiles.
Just sweat and beautiful!
